today some older guy who takes my bus (yes, everything happens on the bus) and who I've never spoken to before, came to my stop where I was standing and gave me a nicely wrapped burned cd (of the band hefner, which is pretty good) and some little flowers, then walked away. that was flattering and it made me extremely happy.
